This product is made to order and may take 6 weeks delivery for UK customers and longer for overseas.

The shipping cost applied to this product may change and an extra fee may be payable after the purchase of the item and when we have had a chance to discuss postage options.

In cases where the Table is picked up from our workshop the postage rate will be refunded in total.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

If you’re sending one of our toys as a gift we also make lovely ply wood gift tags that can be laser engraved with your own personal message. We will tie the tag on your purchased item before we parcel it up.

Description

The table is made to accommodate the ‘lifting in/out’ of any of our double stables, or cow barns. The idea being that the Stable-house can still be picked up and removed from the play table for play elsewhere, and then placed back safely into position.

The price of the Play Table includes a double stable or cow barn, and your own engraved logo or Stable Name along with your choice of front/perimeter paths. We have a number of table top engraved designs to choose from, along with sizes of the table top itself. Alternatively, we would be more than happy to discuss your own ideas.

The Table is cut from a 6′ x 4′ sheet of 18mm Birch Ply, so the dimensions of the finished play table can be as large as 1480 mm x 980 mm wide. The table legs are detachable and can be finished in a natural finish or painted white using Osmo Country Colour White. The height of the play table is 660 mm high.

Please note: The cost does not include delivery. We would advise collection from our workshop near Stonehenge, or we can provide details of a reputable pallet shipping company. Our normal delivery charges do not apply to this item.  Please contact us direct for a quotation.

Osmo natural waxes and oils

All of our toy stables and accessories will have had at least two protective coatings of Osmo® (Osmo® uses all natural waxes and oils), the coating will allow the natural beauty of the birch grain to be retained. Up to three coats of Osmo will be applied, and the overall finish will require at least three weeks to harden sufficiently, giving the toy increased durability. Osmo® forms an extremely hardwearing, dirt-resistant and water repellent surface.

Fixtures and Fittings

All of the hinges, screws and door knobs on our stables are made from solid brass.  The hinges have all had their corners hand sanded to fit neatly into their recessed positions – giving a quality flushed fit.  The screws are then held firmly in place with solid brass nuts. (Please note, these will need checking over time – spares will be provided with each stable.) The solid brass door knobs are standard, and we also supply one hay net ring fitted to the front outside wall.

Please bare in mind that it takes us up to six weeks to produce each stable.

Once cut, they will require at least two coatings of Osmo® oil & wax which needs sufficient time to harden between coats. Whilst we try and maintain a good stock of pre-prepared selection of stables in the most popular tints, fitting doors, windows and mounting onto their chosen bases will require a few days. We will do our best to despatch your order within 14 days or sooner. However, this period may be extended during busy periods such as the lead up to Christmas.

We appreciate that there will be times when this delay won’t be acceptable for those upcoming special events, so we always try and keep a limited range of ‘off the shelf’ stock for those more immediate deliveries. We would advise, however, that you contact us direct to check on our day to day availability as we only update this ‘off the shelf’ list weekly.
